Meghan is thrilled to be opening her own private practice after 18 years of experience of working in a larger clinical setting. Her goal is to deliver individualized one-on-one care, creating a treatment plan that is consistent with her clients’ goals, and allowing them to achieve the best version of themselves.
Meghan graduated from the University of Toronto in 2007 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy following a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario in 2005. She has continued her education with post-graduate courses in manual therapy (Level 1), soft tissue release, muscle energy, Mulligan, APTEI, therapeutic taping, anatomical acupuncture, and pelvic health physiotherapy. She has developed a passion for treating individuals who suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction and takes particular interest in working with people who are motivated to be active. Her treatment approach focuses on patient education and the development of an active exercise program, manual therapy, and various modalities to help her clients achieve their functional goals.
Outside of her professional life, Meghan continues to be active participating in fastball, basketball, ball hockey, and cross training. Her family has followed in her footsteps with her son, Brody, playing rep basketball for the Barrie Royals, and her daughter, Maci, participating in figure skating and gymnastics. Meghan and her husband Mike feel very fortunate to reside in the beautiful township of Tiny.
